We can provide a variety of program opportunities for teams to prayerfully consider and select. Additionally we can assist you by designing a program that supports your goals and purpose. Each program includes the core elements of our evangelistic and humanitarian programs.
Exploration Program
A great opportunity for a first time mission teams or those who have not visited Christianville. The focus of the experiences will be on acquainting participants with the various programs that Christianville uses to carry out its mission of “Sharing Christ in Haiti.” Team members will be introduced to the local culture and Haitian lifestyle. Hands-on opportunities will be provided for evangelism, service projects, and humanitarian assistance.
Evangelistic Program
This program places an emphasis on participating in the various evangelistic ministries of Christianville. Team members will be informed and participate in cross-cultural evangelism; and to fellowship with local church members, college students, pastors, and evangelistic leaders. There will also be opportunities for cultural experiences. This is a great program for those churches and groups that seek a long-term partnership with Christianville. It is also a good program for those who are interested in future short-term or long-term mission experiences.
VBS Program
Each summer Christianville Mission gives leadership and assistance to four local churches who conduct Vacation Bible School. One of the VBS programs is conducted on campus at the LaSalle Church and the others are held in nearby villages. Participants provide craft materials, and work one-on-one with church leaders. If you enjoy working with children, this is the program for you.
Construction/Maintenance
If you enjoy working with your hands along side local Haitians, there are many construction and maintenance projects that you can be involved with. Jobs include: cement work, painting, house construction, building maintenance, and repair, electrical, plumbing, and auto repair and maintenance.
Medical Program
Christianville supports three clinics: medical, dental and eye. Participants can assist in medical services and professional visitors can assist with patient treatment and care. Doctors, nurses, medical assistants, pharmacists and therapists are always needed to give assistance and training to our local medical staff; and non-medical visitors can provide support.
Discipleship Program
Twice a year Christianville conducts a Preacher’s Conference for local preachers and church leaders. This is a great opportunity for your church to provide training, preaching, leadership, and discipleship.
Partnership Program
We have available three to five day programs for pastors, mission committee members, and church leaders who are interested in committing to a long-term partnership with Christianville. A comprehensive on-site review of Christianville’s core values, what the Lord is accomplishing, and our vision and programs for willing the lost will be the focus of this experience. Participants will interact with every program and spend quality time with local church leaders, and our national leaders to learn how Christianville is carrying out its mission.
Specialized Program
If you would like to participate in a program that involves the core elements of all of our programs, we can assist you in designing such a program. This type of program is designed to meet the specific goals of your mission team.
